CrossFit is…

CrossFit itself is defined as that which optimises fitness (constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity). CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it’s so effective.

At CrossFit OL1 we're building that fitness community in Oldham for anyone and everyone who has the willingness, curiosity and bravery to believe in fitness. Our workouts are universally scalable and can be executed by elite athletes, mums to be and grandparents alike.

When you’re about 5 or 10 minutes into your first workout, staring at a puddle of your own sweat on the ground and thinking "wow, this is mental" you'll probably come to your own conclusions of what CrossFit is and what it means to you.

At CrossFit OL1 we believe in providing inclusive training for all. Utilising a wide variety of functional exercises taken from disciplines such as gymnastics, weightlifting, athletics and kettlebells, we'll provide you with the knowledge and skills that will enable you to increase your strength and fitness and excel at any physical task that life throws at you.

Our programming is designed and adapted for each individual that trains with us meaning we can help you regardless of whether you want to simply make all round improvements in your health and fitness, play professional sport or compete at CrossFit.
